Intro - The programmer

Let me start my first blog, by introducing myself in brief. I am a computer programmer and now blogger with no great skills at programming or blogging. But I like to be Jack of all trades rather than be Master of one, I have always been against the normal accepted wisdom.
So why blogging..?
Well first it allows me to brag about myself to the whole world and no one asking me to shut up. There is no better place than here to talk all about yourself. The absence of any interactive social environment in my immediate physical location have prompted me to take deluge in the online community to bail me out.
Second I don't maintain a diary of my life, always wanted, occasionally succeeded and spectacularly failed, but now I find this blogging as way of maintaining an online diary. As I spend a considerable amount of time in front of the computer, I find blogging a good way keep myself busy, hone my writing skills and become more productive for myself. Good intentions to start with, I would say. I intend to be creative and satirical in my future blogs. Wish me luck.!!
So who am I..? For the people who accidentally happens to read this piece.
I am an Engineer currently doing my masters in computers in Milan, Italy. You must be wondering why I am doing that in Milan, which otherwise has been known for the fashion, design and food. When I was at immigration desk in Zurich, I was traveling from India to Milan for the first time, I was asked this question by a pretty lady officer. I gave her a blank stare to make her shut up and simply stamp my passport. Well one day I intend to blog about that experience.
So lets also give a small outline of my likes and hobbies, I am an avid traveler, given a choice I would one day like to visit North Korea and Afghanistan apart from the numerous wonders of this world. I love going to adventures, have been biking and hiking in the Alpine wonderland of Lombardy. I also love reading random articles on Business, Politics, Religion, Engineering and Architecture. I spend a considerable amount of time with documentaries on travel and adventure. Love reading books on fiction and occasionally non-fiction. I am not so athletic, but love swimming.
So will sign off from here now and bring back some more experiences from my past and talk about my dreams with my sign off statement of the day.
"How day by day nothing changes - but when I look back everything is different."
- See ya

As you stay, you would find...blogs and the bloggers...they are all AWESOME. You won't ever regret being a part of this world.

As you go, make sure you visit "www.blogcatalog.com", "www.20sb.net" and "www.indibloggers.org"....
They would give your blog the exposure and expose you to a variety of blogs and bloggers.

A few suggestions: use "Tags" for each post and a tag cloud on your blog page and make sure you have a copy right done for your blog on your name at "http://myfreecopyright.com".

I thought of letting you know as when i started there was no one to say them to me. Its your choice by the way.
