Milan has been my home for last 2 years. This is the first time I am writing something about this place and I will be writing a lot more about it in future. When I was young, I used to read about London weather, how the days start sunny and then out of no where the rain gods decide to play their petty game "Dodge the Rain" with belittle Londoners.
I used to wonder how it feels to live in a place where one needs to carry an umbrella or rain coat all the time round the year. Secretly I wished to experience something similar. Apparently Gods were listening with extra attention to the wishes of we earth dwellers and voila I landed up in Milan, where it rains 9 months out of 12 in a year.
But the most peculiar observation that I made about this city is, that, it is the weekends which are always raining, whereas the weekdays are pretty normal. Now this is really frustrating, normal people work on weekdays and travel or enjoy on weekends. But I think the angels responsible for theweather of Milan have not yet understood this. I wish God had used Wednesday or Friday as a day to rest instead of Sunday. On record, I do not recall a sunny weekend in last 3 months.
I hope this weekend brings some change, till then:
"Rain rain go away, come again another day, little Johnny wants to play".
see ya.
have you seen the weather pronostic for this weekend? it'll not be raining!!! but snowing :S
